Auto Masters Melville

We were in our way to the airport, and had a flat tyre. The team didn’t hesitate to help us out with an incredibly fast repair, to get us road safe again. This was in December, so apologies for a very late review.

I come from the country and have my own mechanic but had an issue come up while in Perth and went to this Auto Masters for the job. My first experience was not a good one but then after I complained I received a free service and I am very pleased with the outcome. Will use them again when in Perth.

Extremely upset. My car has been log book serviced since new. These guys REFUSED to do log book service. Said they would do a basic service, said they had...but DID NOT EVEN CHANGE THE OIL! Didn't change the oil filter. Said air filter was dirty but didn't change it. Refused to rotate tyres. Said transmission fluid was BROWN but would get me through...to where???!! Said my rear brake rotors needed to be replaced as they were too thin to be machined, but offered to replace pads at $195. I declined. Two days later I got them LEGALLY machined, and new pads, for $150 elsewhere. Will never use again and will advise anyone who asks to go elsewhere!

Had the car serviced and a number of problems were found, the team was able to rectify all the requested fixes same day. Rocco was great to deal with very friendly and helpful

I have very limited knowledge of cars so when my car broken down last week I was immediately fearful that I was going to be ripped off. I had $900 worth of work done on my vehicle to solve the issues and Chris at Melville went out of his way to explain the what and why he did it. Not only was this awesome service, it also gave me confidence that I made the right choice in choosing Automasters.About a week later the car broke down again with the same issues. I took the vehicle back, this time got Dave, again Dave took the time to explain what might be the issue. He kept me informed and re-did the work at zero cost to me. The issue was rectified and when I picked it up Dave once again took the time to show me what they did on the car and why. Seriously awesome service! I will definitely be going back, well done men!

My vehicle's air conditioner needed to be re-gassed. Rocco was very helpful and managed to get it done the same day. Being a wheelchair accessible vehicle, it was important for me that I wasn't without a vehicle for too long ... I had my van back within 3 hours! Rocco also organised for one of his workers to drop me off at home and pick me up when my vehicle was ready. Thanks again to the team at Auto Master, Melville!

We have used Auto Masters Melville for servicing and repairing our children's cars for the past four years. Rocco has always been extremely helpful and takes the time to talk through what repairs are needed and the options. Most recently they fitted a clutch and new brakes and serviced an 80 series Toyota Landcruiser. Running like a dream. Highly recommended.

Over due but after discussing worst mechanic experiences" with a mate and both bringing up this location I thought I should post as a warning to others.Staff are friendly.But who ever worked on my car had no idea what they're doing.-approved the rear wiper blades that don't exist.-approved the 3 rear seatbelts on Commodore Ute that doesn't even have rear seats.-approved rear window operation for windows that again don't exist.-Was told my aircon didn't blow any cold air and after pointing out that's a lie because they're actually the 1s who serviced and fixed it only a month earlier they then tell me that they made a mistake and the mechanic didn't even turn it on to test!-requested 2 things to be addressed (sluggish/jumpy acceleration and serious vibrations when driving).$830 later ($600 more than the cost of the service it was booked in for!)

Friendly staff, honest and reliable. Service cost generally cheaper than in dealers. If there are parts that need replacement or fixing, will give a call to inform and provide quotes, also ask for consent. They also provide options for any replacements/repairs that may be able to be delayed. I have been with this branch for service for a good number of years and my car always feels like a new car afterwards. Overall, I am satisfied with the service.

For many years, I was a regular Automasters customer but when I purchased my current car (new) some years ago, I decided to get it serviced with the dealer. At its last regular service, the dealer service centre advised I needed repairs to fix an oil leak and a steering issue. These were going to cost $1200 and just over $1000 for each repair. This seemed high" to me so I decided to call my old Automasters service centre for a quote. They did BOTH repairs for $805!!!! Thank-you Brett at Automasters Melville.
